|
Library membership is open to all hospital personnel and to students attending courses at the Rotunda Hospital.
|
|
| BORROWING | |
|
Readers may borrow books from the library collection for a period of one week. Each reader is required to complete a membership form and may borrow up to 5 books at a time. Loans are renewable.
Journals and reference books may not be borrowed. |

| CATALOGUE | |
|
The Library uses Heritage Library & Resource Centre Management System. The online catalogue can be accessed from computers in the library and throughout the hospital network.
|
|
| REFERENCE | |
|
The reference collection includes Clinical Reports of the Rotunda, Coombe and National Maternity hospitals as well as dictionaries, core texts and a collection of historical Rotunda material.
|
|
| ONLINE SERVICES | |
|
Access to Library Services and the internet is based on your unique barcode and password. You are responsible for the confidentiality of this access. All use is monitored and any abuse is an offence. You must log on each time you access the computer and it is very important that you log off when finished. You are responsible for the use of your ID & password. SWETSWise Online Content is the single access point for online journals and databases (www.swetswise.com) Most journal subscriptions include online content. DATABASES

Access to the electronic collection from outside the hospital is available using Athens. Please ask at Library Services Desk. |

|
SelfService Printing and Photocopying available in 24 Hour Reading Room.
Copy cards can be bought in the 24 Hour Reading Room from the Copy Card Dispenser. Cards cost €2.50 for 40 copies.
NOTE: Change for the Copy Card Dispenser is not available at Library Issue Desk. Please ensure you bring the correct amount. The Copy Card Dispenser does not give back change. |
