The current Rotunda Gardens are beautifully maintained and provide a very tranquil setting within the grounds of the Rotunda Hospital.

The Rotunda Hospital has a long tradition of providing gardens within its grounds. The original Rotunda Pleasure Gardens date back to 1748, when Bartholomew Mosse, founder and first Master of the Rotunda, engaged a gardener to plan and plant the gardens.

A recent addition to the Rotunda Gardens is the specially commissioned sculpture of a Teddy Bear by Patrick O`Reilly. It was unveiled at the 250th Anniversary Garden Party, September 2007.
